Enjoyed café, accomodation and diving as holistic Nakijin experience! ❤️ Accommodation was great value and handy for those morning diving trips. Diving was flexible, safe and an adventure at beautiful spots near Kouri island. I truly appreciate arranging dives around typhoon related conditions to get the most bang for my buck, thank you ? Special shoutout to all those interesting people working at Soma Café and incredibly international dive buddies, I hope to see all of you again ? This place attracts good people! Most of all, thanks to my amazing instructors, you are an inspiration for safe and fun diving ?

Je cherchais un des rares centre de plongée anglophone  pour que je puisse passer mon open water.

J'ai finit par réserver 1 semaine complète de 11 plongées afin que je passe mon open water puis mon advanced water. (J'ai réussi les deux !)

Julien et Sheila ont été 2 excellents instructeurs tant sur le côté humain que professionnel.

Quel plaisir de commencer notre journée par un café inclus dans la plongé à Soma café puis de rentrer faire le bilan devant une galette bretonne ou une foccacia !

Je reviendrais certainement poursuivre maformation !

À peine de retour après quatre jours de formation avec Bubble Addict, et je n’ai qu’une envie : y retourner.

Je suis venue pour passer mon Advanced Open Water et je dois dire que tout s’est merveilleusement bien passé. De l’organisation en amont, jusqu’aux journées de plongée, tout a été très fluide, avec une équipe toujours disponible et aux petits soins.

Un immense merci à Julien, un super formateur, pédagogue et encourageant, qui a su me mettre en confiance tout au long de la formation. J’ai vraiment eu énormément de plaisir à le rencontrer et j’espère bien pouvoir revenir perfectionner mes compétences en photographie sous-marine de concombres de mer avec lui !

Merci également à Sheila, avec qui j’ai eu l’occasion de partager une partie de ma formation et de découvrir des sites de plongée très variés.

Et évidemment, un grand merci à toute l’équipe du Soma Café ! Difficile d’imaginer un meilleur point de départ pour les journées de plongée : un cadre magnifique, une ambiance apaisante et surtout un délicieux matcha pour bien commencer la journée...

Bref, quatre jours absolument géniaux, de très belles rencontres et plein de beaux souvenirs... j’espère pouvoir revenir bientôt !

Okinawa has an huge variety of dive shops, which makes choosing one tough—especially since this was my kids' very first diving experience. Luckily, we found Bubble Addict and instructor Julien, who was simply fantastic! Super patient, enthusiastic, and incredible with teenagers. It couldn't have been better! We're already getting ready to come back. A huge thank you to the whole Bubble Addict team!

Bubble addict was absolutely exceptional!

It was our first time scuba diving after getting certified and we were incredibly nervous. Julien was quite funny and helped us feel confident and comfortable very quickly. He helped us remember things we had forgotten and checked on us the perfect amount.

The scuba diving was also amazing. Rolling hills of coral and some cool fish. Saw a bunch of turtles across our three dives, including the infamous Big Mama who is HUGE (no offense to her).

Definitely recommend.

Side note: we dove with another company later and they weren’t nearly as good or professional as Julien. His communication with us was exceptional.

Great experience and great team! Has the pleasure to do my Open Water Course with Bubble Addict in the north of Okinawa.

Team and staff was super friendly and easy to coordinate with. Also check out the Café for great coffee!

My instructor Sheyla did a great job in showing me all the necessary skills while making sure that you always feel safe under water.

Diving spots seem to be less crowded that what you could find in the south of the island. We even saw tuna and a ray!

Overall, highly recommended!

I did my Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Deep specialty with Bubble Addict, around twenty dives with Sheyla and I couldn't have asked for a better place to learn.

Sheyla is an outstanding instructor. Patient, clear, and genuinely invested in making sure you actually understand what you're doing rather than just ticking boxes. She takes the time to explain, corrects the small details, and never makes you feel rushed. After that many dives together I came out feeling properly confident in the water, which says a lot given I started from zero.

I trusted them enough to bring my friends along so they could do their Open Water too, and the whole team was really accommodating including on pricing, which was very appreciated as students.

The dive sites in the north of Okinawa are beautiful, the organisation was smooth from start to finish, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly throughout. Huge thank you to Sheyla and the team highly recommended to anyone looking to get certified in Okinawa!
